Emergency Lighting Central Battery Systems- Installation

When looking to install an Emergency Lighting Centralised Power System, either as part of a new construction project, or to swap out an existing system that has failed, installations need to be carried out in a certain way to ensure effective running and compliance, post-install.

We recognise there is a nervousness from client maintenance teams or their FM partners in how to install these systems, this is where we offer support. Emcal Systems have years of experience in installing all types of emergency systems, from emergency lighting Static Inverters to AC/DC emergency lighting Central Battery Units.

Systems will be fully tested and commissioned before we leave, we take pride in how we leave the working area, we not only install the new system, but also responsibly remove the old equipment ensuring everything is left in a clean and tidy state.

The best way to guarantee safe and effective installation is to trust a specialist such as Emcal Systems.

Emergency Lighting Central Battery Units – Battery Builds

Arguably the most critical part of emergency lighting Central Power Systems are the battery banks.

New systems will of course, be supplied with batteries. Where systems are already in place, but batteries have reached end of life, replacing the battery strings will often be sufficient to keep the system operational.

Battery banks consist of strings of battery blocks that need to be connected to achieve the required voltage. This process must follow a set methodology and as high DC voltages are involved, safe working practices are essential.

Emcal Systems fully understand the process for installing new battery banks, we can source, supply and install batteries. We guarantee that battery builds will be carried out safely and that no damage is incurred to either the batteries or the system, making sure everything functions as required.
